MORE than 100 franchisees, staff and guests of emergency plumbing and drain repair service Drain Doctor Plumbing will attend the company’s annual franchisee convention to pledge their commitment to help further expand the business.

The event, which takes place at Stratford-upon-Avon this month (March), will open with a presentation by Chairman Freddie Mitman outlining the company’s strong position in an economic climate that has seen many other businesses struggle.

Senior managers from head office will speak on various aspects of franchise management, including marketing.

But the convention is also an opportunity to recognise the efforts of Drain Doctor franchisees, with several awards being presented for outstanding business performance.

These include the Most Progressive Franchise award, presented to the franchisee considered to have made outstanding progress during the first 12 months, and won last year by Bradford franchise owner Danny O’Hara.

He said: “This was achieved with the support of the Drain Doctor network and a lot of hard work from my team. Quality workmanship and customer service are the keys.”
