RETIRING Ovenclean franchisee Ray Moon has just sold his successful business for several times its initial cost to one of his best customers, former company director Stephanie Rouse.
Having joined Ovenclean six years ago, Mr Moon had developed a strong customer base which enabled him to expand his business, recruit staff to help cope with demand, and put another vehicle on the road; all of which was ideal for Ms Rouse, who was looking to invest in an established business, rather than launching a franchise from scratch.

She said: “I’d been thinking about buying a franchise for over a year and had explored a number of different opportunities, but none of them were quite what I was looking for. When I found out that Ray was retiring, I realised this would be the perfect business for me.”
As an Ovenclean customer for more than five years she also knew about the company’s excellent quality of service and potential for repeat business from loyal customers.
“The marketplace is huge, and once people are aware of the Ovenclean service, they love it,” she added.
