FINDING A FRANCHISEE

ENSURE YOU INVEST WITH THE BEST

Monday 27th September 2010

WHETHER you are passionate about pet care, keen to run your own cleaning business, or hungry for success in the fast food industry, a world of business choice awaits potential investors at the National Franchise Exhibition.

Franchising offers excellent prospects for anyone looking to run their own business with the support of a successful franchise network with an established brand name.

Supported by Express Newspapers, the UK’s largest franchise event takes place at the NEC, Birmingham on Friday and Saturday (October 1 and 2), connecting aspiring business owners and existing entrepreneurs with more than 150 franchise concepts, and providing them with opportunities to explore the latest business ideas and find out more about franchising from the experts.

The exhibitors encompass big brands and smaller organisations alike, and include Baguette Express, Go-Kart Party, gas-elec and Little Angels, as well as McDonald’s, Subway, Molly Maid, Snappy Snaps and Thorntons.

A visit to this event can be the first step towards self employment, as Tim Roe discovered when he attended a previous National Franchise Exhibition and met the franchise team from Home Instead Senior Care. After further research, he went on to join the company, and now runs a franchise in Truro in Cornwall.

He said: “I found the exhibition an excellent source of information and knowledge, and it was reassuring to get an independent view from the bank representatives in attendance who could talk about their positive experience with businesses in the care sector.”

All exhibiting companies have been assessed by the British Franchise Association (bfa) and meet their code of ethics, giving prospective franchisees that extra reassurance as they explore the many investment opportunities that this outstanding two day event has to offer.
