Mr Clift, who joined the leading automotive paint repair specialist two years ago, has taken on a second territory and added an extra vehicle to the business.

He said: “At a time when so many small businesses are suffering and young people are struggling to find jobs, this has provided an ideal solution for Robert, who joined the business straight from school.

“He absolutely loves it and is keen to take a bigger role, which is great as demand for our services has been growing strongly.”

A former motor trade worker, Mr Clift says he has been busy since his franchise first opened for business.

He explained: “From day one I had work lined up for about three weeks ahead, and since then I’ve always had a full diary. A lot of that is down to word of mouth recommendations from satisfied customers, which account for around 30 per cent of all new business leads. My son and I are very excited about the future and the prospect of growing the business further.”
