JUST four months after launching his ChipsAway franchise Ryan Lythe has been amazed by the speed of its success.
Now he is looking for premises to set up a ChipsAway CarCare Centre, a fixed-base workshop where he can carry out automotive paintwork repairs, and planning to hire his first member of staff.
Before joining ChipsAway he had spent eight years working in the construction industry driving heavy plant. He had become increasingly unhappy with working long hours and the effect it was having on his lifestyle when he spotted an advertisement for ChipsAway, and arranged to attend an Open Day.

Over his launch weekend, Mr Lythe said he generated estimates worth £10,000, and took enough bookings to guarantee his first two weeks of work. Since then, he has been constantly busy and to take his business to the next level, he needs another pair of hands.
He said: “I’m confident about investing in premises and staff, and if I follow the business model and take advantage of the company’s continued support, I can easily grow my business. I’ve come so far so quickly and for the first time, I look forward to going to work.”
