Today they have around 1,500 regular customers and have added a second vehicle to the business and taken on two employees to help with the workload.

"We’ve worked very hard to build up our business and we’re reaping the rewards from established, loyal customers who book us regularly and recommend us to others," said Mrs Tek.

"Although we have many private householders who use us on a regular basis, we’re also focusing on the rentals marketplace, where we can secure forward contracts from lettings agents or landlords for multiple cleans," she added.

The couple attribute their success to Ovenclean’s high quality, environmentally friendly cleaning system and their courteous, professional service.

Mr Tek said: "Some people just want a regular spruce up, while others want a deep clean. No matter how dirty the oven is we can restore it to a spotless condition and have it looking as good as the day it first came from the shop."

Ultimately, their aim is to build a team of mobile oven cleaning specialists which they will then manage.
