Spettro is a buildings insurance claims management business that incorporates a loss assessing service and specialises in property renovations.
Graham Calladine started his Spettro franchise in Chesterfield and Mansfield last summer, but as the torrential rain arrived his business became operational a little quicker than he expected. As a result, he earned back over half the cost of his franchise in just one week of trading by arranging repairs to flood damaged properties.
With Channel 4’s Dispatches now naming twenty places most likely to be at risk of flooding in the UK and therefore making ideal franchise locations, Spettro are preparing for future demand for their services.
Spettro’s pilot franchise turned over £240,000 in its first year, and recorded a 65 per cent operating profit.
