He said: “I had no idea that the building trade has seen so many deaths from asbestos-related diseases because of the cheap materials used in the 70's 80's and 90's. But I also learnt that with a bit of knowledge this needn’t be the case.”

Aspray franchisees do not physically carry out repair work themselves, but project manage the entire process of an insurance claim and repair, from initial damage survey to completion of the work.  

However, on assessment of the damage, knowing what needs to be done and who should be doing it ensures that a good job is done.
