Based in Newton Abbot in Devon, Planet Metals is looking to establish a network of licensed operators throughout the UK. Working from a modern factory unit, fitted out and fully equipped by the parent company, operators buy in non-ferrous waste from domestic and commercial sources, including plumbers, electricians, and builders, which they recycle and then sell to Planet Metals.
The package costs £49,000, which also includes one week’s training at head office, and advertising and marketing support, and there are no management fees or royalties to pay.
Operators will need premises of between 800 and 1200 sq. ft. to work from, and those who are able to do some of the fitting out themselves will receive a discount on their investment fee. Finance is also available.
