Leather cleaning and restoration specialist Furniture Clinic is broadening its market through further expansion of its national network throughout the UK.
Furniture Clinic technicians restore worn and discoloured leather from car interiors, to sofas and even expensive leather bags, shoes and jackets.
Craig Cavanagh, who runs Furniture Clinic Gateshead, said: “People no longer have to get rid of worn looking leather jackets or faded sofas. With specialist dyes and treatment we can restore them to their former glory. We have a wide customer base, from consumer to commercial, and work with people from aviation to classic cars.”
At the Furniture Clinic head office in Gateshead technicians undergo a full training programme, learning the theory and acquiring the skills and knowledge needed to run and operate a Furniture Clinic business.
The company has eight franchises operating in Gateshead, Nottingham, Northumberland, Cumbria, Manchester, Kent, Essex and Cardiff, and is in the process of setting up a ninth, in Bristol.
