The fourth franchise area sold was in Nottingham, which officially began operating as Furniture Clinic at the beginning of January 2009. In just three months franchisee Freed Oram has found his business booked solid until the end of May.

He said: “It’s amazing to think that only three months into this venture I am also three months booked in advance.”
The growth of Furniture Clinic is fuelled though jobs being given to franchisee’s from head office.

Mr Oram, who admits he has barely started to advertise the business, added: “Most work is supplied direct from Furniture Clinic head office and I am also getting a lot of recommendations and repeat custom.

“Leather repair is such a unique service that not many people know it can be done. The results are outstanding and can save customers hundreds of pounds on re-upholstery, which is why people are more than happy to spread the word,” he added.
